Our Valley

Our house is set in the heart of a valley
in the middle of which runs a river called Le Leff.

At the top of a path lined with beech
and hazelnut trees you will discover
our farm-Inn "Au Char à Bancs".

In the farm-inn, there is "la potée" and pancakes

We propose our potée de Plélo
dish using produce from our farm: the vegetables and meat cook
for 4 hours in a huge caldron in the chimney.
We also serve sweet and savoury pancakes.

The Farm-Inn is open:
Every day except Tuesdays in July and August
In is open at weekends from September to June
and it is closed in January.

On summer afternooms stroll in the valley

You can stroll in the valley, visit the vegetable garden,
climb the castle, go for a ride on the shetland poneys
or sail in the river.  In the valley around the mill,
the charolais cows and their calves,
the work horses and their foals, the poneys and
goats graze on about 20 hectares. Geese, ducks, hens,
a cock, a turkey and a heron bring life to this peaceful
countryside. In the summer a sow and her piglets
come on holidays.

Jeanne's Antiques Shop

Set in the basement of this four hendred year old
granite mill, the Antiques shop is over-flowing
with old dishes, crockery and metal utensils
but also simple objects associated with country life,
zinc bits and pieces and Holy Mary Statues,
which once watched over the household.
